Humberto is a ballet dancer from Mexico City and…well…he as every dancer I met so far, is fit and has a body to make you gasp for air. I wanted to shoot a sensual picture where you can actually tell he is a dancer – without him being on a stage or in the middle of rehearsals. This is shot I came up with and I love it…it is sensual, it is intimate, there’s tension but Humberto doesn’t show it.

The editing had to make it justice and so I went for a warm look with a little color cast from two sides. I think it looks amazing, how the warmer window light works with the cooler light in the shade. Other than that – pretty straight forward frequency separation and dodging and burning.
