This shot was a pretty straight forward one. I used a steady light (my triangle light made of three daylight led tubes) and placed it to the model’s right. The edit was almost as easy to do: After a general edit in Lightroom (brightness, contrast, blacks, whites and sharpening), I retouched the skin using frequency separation in Photoshop. I dodged and burned the face to give it more dimension and I cleaned up the hair a bit using the liquify tool. After enhancing the eyes as seen in the video, I used NIK Silver FX for the black and white conversion and voilá – there you have it!
